Retail & Folding Cartons

Retail cartons and folding cartons both refer to a retail-ready SBS paperboard box that contains one or more items for sale. We offset print retail/folding cartons in up to six colors. There are two main reasons to package items in retail/folding cartons. We regularly print and manufacture retail/folding cartons for customers simply looking for packaging that will add value and visibility to their products. A retail/folding carton for example is a great way to package a CD, flash drive, or other small product so that it stands out from across a room and next to competing products. Retail/folding cartons also enable you to display your product so that it faces forward towards your customer, instead of stacked flat on a shelf or at the bottom of a bin.

The other main reason for using retail/folding carton packaging is to assemble a component kit, for example a software box that contains a CD in a jewel case or paper sleeve, a registration card and a book, manual or other print items.

Most of the retail/folding cartons we print also include a corrugated insert that holds the contents in place and reinforces the outer box.

Many of our retail/folding cartons also include an additional front flap that includes more information about the product, usage, or installation instructions. The flaps are often fitted with a with a Velcro tab or perforated wafer seal to close.

Your retail/folding cartons can also be die-cut to include a clear plastic or poly window of any shape to display the product inside. We will also assemble and shrinkwrap retail/folding cartons to your specifications.
